Subject: Lynx 2.0.8 released!
To: www-talk@nxoc01.cern.ch
Date: Sun, 25 Apr 93 16:47:49 CDT
X-Mailer: ELM [version 2.3 PL2]
Version .8 of Lynx 2.0 is hereby released.
This is a major bug fix release.
All reported bugs (50+) have been fixed (I say this with optimism).
I dare you to make it core dump now. :)
There are still a few minor html formatting bugs but this is a very
stable release. I encourage everyone to find and report any bugs that
you can so that I can release a productional version (non Beta)
by June 1st.
If you are running an earlier version of Lynx PLEASE UPGRADE NOW!
If you read this message and have no idea what Lynx is, telnet
to kufacts.cc.ukans.edu and login as "www" for a demo and explaination.
Lynx source and binaries are available by anonymous FTP
at "ACS220.CC.UKANS.EDU" in the /pub directory.
